20-Minute Relaxing Restorative Yoga With Breathing Exercises

Connect to peace in mind, body, and spirit with this 20-minute relaxing restorative yoga class featuring a few calming breathing exercises. We begin with gentle movement, then rest in three restorative yoga poses with props using a bolster and blanket.

In those restorative poses we'll practice two pranayama techniques — Equal Breathing (Sama Vritti) and Lengthen the Exhale (both from my book) — to soothe the nervous system and activate the body's "rest and digest" mode. My intention is that you feel grounded, calm, and centered during and after this gentle restorative yoga sequence
