Why restorative yoga for highly sensitive women? Highly sensitive people (HSPs) or highly sensitive women are those whose central nervous systems are more "sensitive" to our environments or emotions of others. We often experience deep beauty and deep sorrow, but when unbalanced may become avoidant or overwhelmed by the world and our relationships.

Restorative yoga helps us practice pratyahara, withdrawing the senses from the external world, so we can rejuvenate and balance our nervous systems. Let this restorative yoga class be a balm for the pitfalls of being highly sensitive, which may include feeling overwhelmed or stressed by conflict, comparing ourselves to others, or perfectionism.
