Restorative Yoga for When It's Difficult to Be Still

This restorative yoga practice is for when you find it difficult to be still, but you still want to turn inward to receive rejuvenation. We'll prepare our body for lying in savasana by first moving intentionally through gentle asana and techniques informed by Ayurveda.

By working with the guna of rajas — movement and action — rather than against it, we allow ourselves to eventually receive quiet rest. When imbalanced, a rajasic nature can lead to burnout, exhaustion, anger, or irritability. Return to this restorative yoga therapy class whenever you want to be still, but find it difficult to do so.
