Restorative Yoga for Fear, Worry, and Sadness

In this restorative yoga class we'll create space to move through fear, worry, and sadness. In light of recent world events, my intention for this 40-minute yoga class is to help you safely feel and process your emotions so you can continue to show up and take action for collective change and well-being.

We invoke the yama of ahimsa, meaning non-violence/non-harming and reverence for all beings, through an abbreviated practice of Metta Meditation with Hakini Mudra. The restorative yoga sequence then continues with a soothing series of four restorative yoga poses with props.

You'll need a chair, one bolster, three blankets, and an eye covering. May all be safe, healthy, happy, and at ease.
